Who we are

The Cambridge Hog Roast Company is a family run company, operated by a husband and wife team of Steve and Lesley along with Lesley's sister and brother-in-law, Sue and Phil.

Steve and Lesley have been running The Cambridge Hog Roast Company for more years than they care to remember and started up The Cambridge Barbecue Company a few years back. Sue and Phil have helped out at events for both companies for many years and recently came into the business as full partners as a result of the rapid expansion of both businesses.

Experience

We have a roster of other staff that we call upon as needed. All of our staff are fully trained and whoever you meet on the day will be more than capable of providing you with a wonderful meal and helping to make your day run smoothly.

Steve is a fully-trained butcher with 30 years' experience in the trade. He has worked for some of the most respected suppliers in the area; he is responsible for the preparation of the major spit roast dishes and most of the raw food processing. Steve does a fantastic line in hams and produces a brilliant range of speciality sausages.

Official matters

We hold current Health & Safety certification and have our own Public Liability insurance. Earlier in the year we were awarded a coveted 5 star certification from Cambridge City Council Environmental Health department.

We are fanatical about providing a great level of service for your big day and ready to go the extra mile when needed. A lot of our corporate customers return year after year for their event catering. Much of our business comes through word of mouth and we believe in working hard to merit those recommendations.
